| Choosing the Perfect Pet The
best advise for choosing the perfect pet
well, there is no perfect pet or
perfect breed, but with the right research you can find the perfect pet for you
and your family. First, do not buy a pet on impulse! Sure they're cute and playful
and pull at your heartstrings, but this is a lifetime commitment; so take the
time to fully research the type and breed of animal that you are interested in
before brining them home. Start by asking the right questions: Why
do you want a pet? Are
you looking for companionship? Do you want the unconditional love of an animal?
Do you want to teach your children responsibility? Do you want your children to
grow up with a loyal dog at their side just as you did? Do you want the extra
protection for your home? Do you need a service or work animal? What
type of pet do you have room for in your home? While birds, fish, and rabbits
can live just about anywhere, a dog or cat may require a little more room - especially

paths? What
kind of activities do you enjoy doing? Are
you a book worm? Do you look forward to spending a quiet night at home curled
up in a blanket reading the latest bestseller? Or are you constantly on the go
- hiking, walking, climbing, and camping? Your pet needs to enjoy doing what you
enjoy. Are you home enough? No matter how much you want a pet,
you have to be home enough to care for it. If you go to work early and come home
late and spend your weekends out, a pet probably isn't for you. Remember, with
your work, friends, family, church, and activities, you have a life... Read
