Pet Friendly Accommodations in the Smokies Staying in pet friendly accommodations and lodging on your vacation is a great way to "get away from it all" and spend much-needed time with friends and family, including your four-legged family members. Pet friendly travel has become more popular in recent years and pet friendly vacations to the Great Smoky Mountains are on the rise. In an effort to accommodate every guest in the best way possible, many of the owners of top-quality cabins and hotels have decided to allow all family members, including those with four legs, to enjoy themselves in their own home away from home. The Treehouse and Jewel of the Smokies are just two examples of pet-friendly cabins in the area. The best part about these cabins is that you do not miss out on any of the amenities that makes a cabin a great choice to stay in. You still have the full kitchen and plush carpeting along with little luxuries such as pillow-top king mattresses and hot tubs. The Treehouse is a private getaway tucked in the foothills of the Smoky. The Treehouse is a one-bedroom, loft style cabin with a striking wall of windows that brings the beauty of nature into the cabin all year round. The main level offers a comfortable living room featuring a gas log fireplace, a relaxing sleeper sofa, television with satellite and VCR, and even an air hockey table. For your convenience, a full-size washer and dryer are provided on the main floor. There is a powder-room downstairs also. Feel free to try your hand at country cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen complete with blender, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and more. A charcoal grill is also available outside on the porch. The main deck also features a four-person hot tub. The cabin features a hand-carved king-size log bed in the loft along with a full master bath. Jewel of the Smokies, a gorgeous 3 bedroom (3rd bedroom is loft-style), 3 bath cabin, is settled high on a perch in Dogwood farms and is about 7 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge. This incredible cabin is comfortably furnished to accommodate a large group. With amenities such as sleeping space for 11, a gas log fireplace, hot tub on covered deck, game room with a pool table, double decks that overlook the spectacular mountain views, its no wonder that people request Jewel of the Smokies year after year. Other features of the cabin include 3 TV's with satellite and VCR (TV in Living Room is TV/VCR/DVD combo), glider rockers on the deck, washer/dryer and a full sized, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and charcoal grill. A sleeper sofa can also be found in the living room. Even the hotels maintain the same level of accommodations for their pet friendly rooms. Not only do hotels in the area offer the same level of accommodations, but many even give away free pet treats or gift baskets to your four-legged family friends. No matter what you're looking for, you're sure to find comfortable lodging to accommodate all your family friends, including the four legged variety! Cutest
